Irish Set dancing is a very easy, sociable way to enjoy good company and a little exercise. The dances or sets all have a name – usually the town or area of Ireland they originated from – and a pattern of “figures” within the Set. A set is comprised of 8 people or 4 couples. We enjoy learning & dancing some two hand or social dances as well. It is a casual group, with drop in fee of $5 a night. Our group meets once a week and have performed at Mosaic and other cultural events. We meet on Thursday evenings from 8:00 - 9:30 pm. If you like dancing and are interested in joining us, you can contact us by email: or join our Facebook page “Regina Irish Set Dancers”  to see a video of us dancing at Mosaic.
